Why is Tropic not sold on the High Street?
For a beauty product to be capable of being sat on a shop shelf for an indefinite period of time, it needs to have added preservatives, such as parabens, to make this possible. As Tropic only use natural ingredients, and there are very few natural preservatives, our products are not shelf friendly. This is why you will never see them on a shop shelf and why Tropic is not sold on the high street. (Incidentally, this is one of the reasons why Tropic don’t do samples).
All Tropic product are freshly made to order in our UK beauty kitchen in Surrey. Each product has a BBE date of between 6 to 18 months, which is stamped onto each individual product.
WHERE CAN I BUY THEM THEN?
All legitimate sales of Tropic products are exclusively through Tropic Ambassadors or Tropic themselves, and all for the same price. Any price saving deals, similar to those that happened during lockdown, are driven by Tropic. The only other deals allowed are those which we, as Ambassadors, organise within our own private groups.
BUT I’VE SEEN TROPIC ON EBAY?
Although Tropic products can be found on online marketplaces, this is not a practice approved by Tropic Skincare. Indeed, as an Ambassador, I am only permitted to sell through my own Tropic web shop or my personal ordering system. This is what guarantees your 30 day happiness guarantee (currently still 90 days)! I am also not permitted to do any form of paid advertising, as this would be unfair to other Ambassadors. I am therefore reliant on spreading the word through this website, through my Facebook Page “Penelope Dunlop” and through my private Facebook Group “Penny’s Tropic Lounge”.
